Diagnosis & Treatment Procedure

For successful pain treatment,
MBR thoroughly diagnoses and treats each patient.

STEP
01

Reservation & Fill out diagnosis questionnaire
After making a reservation by phone or online, fill out a bio vital signs prediction questionnaire developed by MBR Acupuncture & Herb.

STEP
02

Consultation with Our Team Acupuncturist
The Acupuncturist will conduct a detailed consultation with the patient regarding the patient’s discomfort level, medical history, and changes in symptoms the patient experienced after previous treatments from prior clinics.

STEP
03

Posture and 12 meridians analysis
Posture and 12 meridians test is a 10-step examination program developed by MBR based on 20 years of clinical experience. It is structured to quickly identify the main cause of pain.
The cause and the reason of the pain are identified throughout the process.

STEP
04

X-ray/ MRI
Depending on the patient’s condition, additional assessments are required after the test treatment. In such case, the doctor will request for X-ray or MRI scans to make a complete diagnosis.

STEP
05

Diagnostic treatment
Through analyzing the posture and 12 meridians, the doctor determines the acupuncture points and technique that can most effectively resolve the pain and performs the diagnostic treatment.
The pain will be reduced immediately if the diagnosis and the acupuncture points and technique are accurate, which will lead to a successful treatment.
If the root cause of pain is in energy metabolism, MBR herbal medicine will be prescribed.

STEP
06

Treatment Plan
After all tests are completed, a customized treatment plan will be established. In most cases, 16 treatments are needed, which includes the Diagnostic treatments.

STEP
07

Daily life guidance and self-exercise prescription
The daily life guidance is provided during the treatment process to correct the movements and postures in daily life that cause the pain. In certain cases, self-exercise is prescribed to maintain the balance of the 12 meridians.
